About Me
Hi, I’m Dave, the founder of Facciamo Cosi.
I’m based in South Florida, but a big part of my heart is always somewhere in Italy, walking through a piazza, staring up at a cathedral, drinking an espresso too quickly, or trying to figure out how one country can make a doorway, a coastline, and a bowl of pasta all feel like art.
Facciamo Cosi started from that feeling.
I wanted to create Italian-inspired pieces that bring a little of that energy home: the color, the charm, the food, the architecture, the humor, the espresso breaks, and the la dolce vita feeling that makes Italy unforgettable.
Why I Started This Shop
I love Italy, Italian culture, and the way a single place can stay with you long after you leave. A canal in Venice. A lemon spritz on the Amalfi Coast. The warm stone colors of Rome. A tiny café table that somehow feels like the center of the world.
Facciamo Cosi is my way of turning those moments into colorful, modern pieces for your walls, kitchen, coffee routine, and everyday life.
The style is bold, bright, and a little playful: part vintage Italian travel poster, part pop art, part “I wish I were in Italy right now.”
Not a Traditional Artist, Just Very Italian at Heart
I’m not a traditional artist by training. Facciamo Cosi started because I genuinely love Italy: the cities, the food, the coastlines, the espresso bars, the old buildings, the loud colors, the quiet corners, and the feeling you get when a place stays with you.
I use design tools, research, and AI as part of my creative process, but every piece in the shop is guided by my own taste, editing, and connection to the subject. I choose the places, shape the concepts, refine the details, and only keep the pieces that feel right for the Facciamo Cosi world.
For me, this shop is not about pretending to be something I’m not. It’s about sharing the version of Italy I love: bold, warm, colorful, nostalgic, and full of life.
How the Art Is Made
Every design starts with a real Italian idea: a city, landmark, dish, drink, region, tradition, or cultural detail that deserves to be celebrated.
I research the place or subject first, then shape the artwork around the feeling of it: the colors, the architecture, the mood, and the little details that make it recognizable. I use AI as part of the creative process, almost like a digital sketchbook, but the final shop pieces are selected, refined, edited, and curated by me so they feel right for Facciamo Cosi.
The goal is simple: make Italian-inspired art that feels joyful, premium, and easy to live with.
More Than a Shop
Facciamo Cosi is designed to be explored.
You can shop colorful Italian pop-art posters, find city mugs for your morning coffee, browse kitchen pieces with personality, read quick Italy-inspired stories on Mappa e Forchetta, or take an espresso break with Piazza Waiter, our little café game.
It’s all connected by the same idea:
Italy, on your wall.
And sometimes in your kitchen, your coffee cup, or your browser game.
Thanks for Being Here
